How long does one sensor last?

Each FreeStyle Libre sensor is designed to be worn for up to 14 days (exact wear time is being confirmed with Abbott/ops — please check with support for the latest figure before relying on this).

How many sensors should I order?

As a guide: 2 sensors cover about one month, 6 sensors cover about three months, and you can also order just 1 if you'd like to try it occasionally.

Will it work with my phone?

The FreeStyle LibreLink app only works with certain NFC-compatible phones and operating systems. The exact compatibility list is being confirmed with Abbott/ops — please check with our support team before you order if you're unsure about your phone.

Do I need a reader?

No — if your phone is compatible, the free FreeStyle LibreLink app is all you need. A separate reader device is only required if your phone isn't compatible or you prefer not to use a phone.

How should I store my sensors?

Keep sensors in their sealed packaging at room temperature, away from direct heat and sunlight, until you're ready to apply one.
